The Inspirational Moment Behind
“A New Creation”
“I chased this Queen Butterfly for thirty minutes before it finally paused and posed for me. If someone familiar with square dancing had seen me maneuvering around the outside of the milkweed plants as this butterfly was fluttering around the inside, they would have surely called out, “Promenade!”
Zoomed in, macro to the max, and with a depth of field of only about two inches, over half of my more than 100 photos were unusable.
But then, in the twinkling of an eye, this little butterfly was the first to blink — a momentary pause, it looked right at me, allowing me to capture the vivid and dazzling beauty of which it seemed so unaware.
In life, we are the ones fluttering around, too busy with our own pursuits to stop and allow the One chasing us to show us who we really are.
The image He wants to take of you,
the image He wants to show you,
is the Image of Perfection.
“Anyone who belongs to Christ
has become a New Creation.
The old life is gone;
a new life has begun!”
(2Corinthians 5:17)
Give Him a chance to capture the real beauty in you.
